I know many of us here have sons and/or husbands who love war movies. This is a great one is a new favorite of my ds and dh. Dh in particular really likes the humanness of it, and the excellent acting. I don't remember this being released in theatres. Has anyone else seen it?

My dh says this is for about ages 11 or 12 and up. Mild language, some violent scenes.

Have you seen "War Horse"? I hadn't realized what a great depiction it would give us of WW I. We just watched it last night, and WOW. Very, very good. It jogged our memories of some of the things we saw when visiting the WW I Museum here in Kansas City.

Yes, great movie! The original play is coming here in a month or two and I might get tickets for my dh and two older sons.

I wonder how they do an original play when it's about a horse and there's so much action involving the horse? :confused1:
