My dd is preparing to Clep a few classes for college. Does anyone have any advise? She will be doing an English/essay class first. TIA!

The one thing I've heard about clepping is not to clep a class within the scope of the chosen major. Talk to the prospective college(s) and see what they will accept.

My dd is in CollegePlus, so probably of 75% of her classes are CLEPs!
I agree with what Shannon said... also, you must be sure the college you are looking at accepts them.Also check how many CLEP credits they will accept and what scores they accept. While my dd only needs a 50 or better (on most tests) to pass, some colleges require 55, 60, etc. scores to accept the CLEP credits.
Your best bets for CLEPs for general studies are intro to psych, intro to sociology, College composition, literature and college math (if not a math/science major).
