With Beyond, does the difficulty increase with each volume? Does it matter what order we do it in?

Thank you.

The order doesn't matter. There are a couple of books which are a bit easier, IMO (Boxcar Children, for one) and a couple which would probably work well for a child who is a bit older (Madame Curie is one), but the volumes do not increase in difficulty.

(If I'm not remembering this correctly, someone please feel free to correct me! ;))

Thank you. Trying to sort this all out quickly, since we are changing direction mid year.

I've always said that the books in Beyond Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 can be used in any order, but after that the Beyond Vol. 3 is definitely more difficult in both the books your student reads and the lessons as well.

We found this to be true, too. Vol. 3 was more advanced.
