Somehow I missed this recipe but I don't know how as it is always a topic of conversation here!

So can anyone share it with me? Please!! :lol:

French Dip Italian Beef Sandwiches

3-4 pound rump roast
1 can beef consomme
1 pkg. au jus mix
1 pkg. italian dressing mix
Combine the consomme with the mixes and pour over the roast.
Cook on low for 10-12 hours. (or high for 5-6 hours)
Slice the meat. Serve on crusty rolls with the juices for dipping.

(This is my favorite "duo" crockpot meal. We eat the sandwiches and sauce the first night. Then I take the leftover meat and sauce and add a little cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. It makes the *best* stroganoff over noodles and you have dinner for the next night!)
