Please tell me the difference between the "meeting book" and "workbook".

Thanks! :)

We no longer use Saxon but the Meeting Book was a little book you used for the whole year in K-3. It had calendars, graphs and other little things you filled in each day at your morning meeting which is separate from the main lesson. It's similar to circle time activities many teachers have in their classroom.

The workbook is just that, a workbook with worksheets to be completed after the main lesson. ;) HTH

Honestly Lindy, I don't think one NEEDS the meetingbook. We don't use Saxon anymore either, but I only ever purchased the meetingbook ONCE. We used it ONCE and there it sits.. Not sure what to do with it now either!

I've just started using Saxon and we aren't using the meeting book. I didn't even buy it. The TM tells you what to do, so we simply do the meeting activities orally, if we do them at all. Also, the TM includes a master meeting book page so you can make copies if you'd like.
