My dc have been watching the DVDs from Netflix. I was thinking of buying them a computer game for Christmas. Thanks for the help!

I loved them as a kid in the late 80's . I haven't seen the newer ones to know if they are any different than the old ones though.

We've had several from some of the 3.99 type software discount sites. The one I buy from has a new name and I can't remember it.

My boys love them.:)

We like them. :) If your disc doesn't come with one, you may need an atlas handy. My kids think they are very cool to play. There's also two board games, which are awesome.

Where in the World is Carmen...
Where in the USA is Carmen..

They work the same way as the game show use to work.. Answer geographical questions based on clues given. "Winner" doesn't win unless they can put all the state/country capitals in place before the timer goes off. Really need to get mine shipped to me. The boys would love playing it. ;)

I don't really remember much about them, but just the other day my almost 18yo daughter said, that she had been "craving" to play the Carmen Sandiego games. It was TOTALLY random!!

Julie, I finally had a link to the little place I got my games from. No jewel case, slow shipping, but cheap.

Everybody, sing!

Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?

I was an adult when this show was on the air and I LOVED it! :roflol: What a great show. :thumb:

Let us know about the CD's, Julie. I know my crew would enjoy them too. :)

They have one listed for $4.25 here. :thumb:

Does anyone know what "classic OS" means in the world of macs? Is the newer one, Safari, considered "classic'?

My kids enjoy them; but, I recall one having a quirk.
