If you have a child that enjoys science and has a friendly pup, this book could be a lot of fun. Great for dog unit.
There are 30 experiments looking at dog anatomy, dog behavior, how dogs perceive the world, reading dog body language, and dog health.

There is the occasional mention of them evolving from wolves, but you can either skip that part or take the opportunity to teach how others believe and why.

 Love this! I also found one for a cat for my youngest dd. My middle dd will love doing this with her dog. However, he is a pug, so we won't expect too much.

Rachel Jane, my ds is going to absolutely LOVE this. Thank you . He soooo wants to be a vet and dogs are his absolute favorite thing. I'm going to order this soon and not tell him until it arrives. His birthday's coming up, so this will be ideal. :D
