I have been using this method this year and we all seem to do well with it. I'm just wondering...does anyone else who uses this think it could almost stand alone as a Lang arts program--at least at my children's ages. ??? The task cards cover tons of stuff and if they just "pick one" every day, then they're getting writing, dictionary skills, grammar, etc.... it just seems like overkill to do this AND a gramar program.

Any other thoughts?

I don't do formal grammar. I do have some Critical Thinking books we rotate through during the week.

I'm not a thourogh on the activity cards as I should be, but I do try to get to them at least once a week.

We have this but we do not use it often. My kids were just breezing through the lists but misspelling other words so we are using our own writing for our spelling lists. My friend is using spelling power and it is working well for them. :)

We use SP.
I haven't used the cards.

We use Jensen's Format Writing and Jensen's Grammar & Punctuation also.
Vocabulary is also seperate.

This just happens to a strong point in our family.
Every writes so what we do may be overkill for another in the English department.

I have lumped Critical Thinking and Logic alone.
