We had our sons read this and would like for them each to write some sort of report on its contents.

How would you set up the perimeters of a book report for a non-fiction book?

What an interesting book! I want to read it. I'm going to check our library.

I think this would be a great oral report book. Are you specifically wanting it written? They could discuss the pros and cons of fighting; situations where you might need to fight back; show techniques of how to avoid confrontation or techniques for getting away. It might be a good book to have them present together orally with each of them taking seperate sections to present. Just a thought.

I like Laurie's idea of an oral report :thumb:

I'd want something written, as well, though. A comparison/contrast essay would be a great one for this book (it sounds like). Compare/contrast acts of violence and their repercussions. Compare/contrast scenarios where violence may be necessary and their repercussions. Etc.
