I know about Bananagrams and Quiddler and I have those on my list. What are some other games that are fun and help with spelling. I have a second grade boy.

Thanks a bunch:)

Can you use online sources or do you just want board games?

Upwords is similar to Scrabble and would incorporate spelling- though it might be too difficult. Boggle. There's a new Scrabble card game that looks interesting- you start with a word and then each person tries to modify it using the letter cards in their hand. (i.e. "slap" changed to "slam").

Online there's SpellingTime and Spelling City. You can trial games for one hour free at this site- here are the word games:

Scrabble Jr.

I Spy Word Scramble (http://www.amazon.com/I-Spy-Word-Scramble-Game/dp/B0001CU1HE)- you know those puzzles with the sliding tiles? This is a big one with letters, and there are cards with I Spy style pictures for you to spell the objects.

I haven't played it, but I've heard Boggle is good. My kids like Boggle Jr. (for the younger two).
