Not sure if this has been shared here or not yet, but my kids and I have been watching this the last few days and we are all loving it!

Ok, so we've had this on for awhile, and watching the mama eagle alternate between the dead bird and the dead fish to snack on has been ... ahem ... interesting ... :p

LOL It has here too :lol:Yesterday she had what looked like an otter  Thankfully the girls couldn't figure out what it was!

So she's been hanging out in the nest today, sitting on the eaglets; Mr. Eagle was up there earlier today  and now she's picking at the dead bird again (just had the head in her mouth, holding it by the beak). :p  The kids are fascinated about how far she can turn her head.

Have you been able to see if the third egg hatched yet? We haven't been able to watch must yet today.

No, it hasn't yet -- she was up for a bit, and has had eaglets trying to pop out from under her when she settled back down  but the third egg is still there. It should hatch by the end of the week, it looks like.

One thing that we learned is that she lays her eggs on different days (thought she did it at the same time like a lot of other birds) and then they hatch on different days too.

Apparently the third eaglet hatched this afternoon (we missed it :( ) ... and Mr. Eagle (?) brought up some more food -- 2-3 fish and another otter. Yum!

Yep, the 3 babies are there. A few minutes ago, we just got to watch mama feeding fish to the babies. :)

Oh, the parents have been working on nest repair right now too....

Yeah, before we went on errands this morning, Mr. Eagle flew up, and Mrs. Eagle took off for a well needed break ;) ... both kids noticed that Daddy Eagle doesn't have the same parenting skills as Mommy Eagle.

She's feeding them fish now -- good to see that eagles don't regurgitate the food beforehand. :p

I see that the Mama Eagle is starting to give them a bit of freedom ... one of the eaglets (the oldest?) is sleeping next to mama, rather than underneath her.

We need this emoticon too, for stuff like this: <a href="http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php" title="Smiley"><img src="http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-fc/popcorn.gif" alt="Smiley" border="0" /></a>

How fun! I can't wait to watch more tomorrow. We were at my MIL's house all day today, so we didn't get to watch at all.
