Say your someone who likes to wear earrings for months at a time but they get nasty (maybe tarnished) what's the best kind to buy gold? nickel free? I don't have a lot to spend but I'd like a good pair of earrings I can just leave in TIA

I wear gold hoops for weeks (maybe months) at a time. I clean them with alcohol every now and again.

I only wear gold, and I tend to leave my earrings in for weeks at a time.

Are these your style? I know you can get them for a better price than what is listed.

I wear nickel free silver. Gold tarnishes on me.

In fact I have a set of nickel free silver hoops that have been in my "80's era, multiple pierced ear" for years.

I'm a nickle-free silver girl too. My newest pair I've worn for 6 months straight. I bought them at Claire's. My pair is from their sensitive ears line (I think it's the purple label) and I haven't had any reaction with them.

I hardly ever change my earrings. They are silver. I actually bought them at Walmart. They work for me.

I'm really glad you asked this! I need to find some new earrings for DH. He is currently wearing a pair of cheapie studs that he stole from Erin after having bent up one of his good hoops. They're looking pretty rough right about now. I'll try looking for some nickel-free ones.

If silver tarnishes on you, but you like the look of it try white gold.

These are the only earrings I have ever been able to wear without trouble. (I think I learned about them here on these boards. ) They are medical grade titanium and I've worn them for months at a time with no problem. I know they are expensive, but I figured with all the less expensive pairs of earrings I've had to miss out on through the years, I deserved a treat. ;)
