Do any of you participate in an online support forum for your Aspie kids? We are seeing a doctor, but I could probably use some ongoing tips on how to manage things. Thanks.

I don't but I know there are a number of us here for support. What exactly were you looking for? I used to have some good sites in my favorites but then my computer crashed so I don't have those any more. Any of Tony Attwoods books are awesome! If you ever get a chance to hear him in person go! He did more for me than anyone.

We are struggling mostly with very high levels of frustration. DS is easily upset over anything. We will see a different doctor later this month, but it's a long wait.

This (http://darngroup.tripod.com/) is one that I knew about in Dayton, OH. Not where you live, I realize, but I don't think it's restricted to the Dayton area who joins their message boards. (when I first learned about DARN, they didn't have a website!)

I don't remember if you are on Facebook. There is a group (http://www.facebook.com/aspergersawarenesspage) on there that is a mixture of Aspie's and parents/siblings of Aspies. You get a variety of answers and discussions from both sides. Kind of an inside peak into the mind of an Aspie. :thumb:

There is a very active support group on yahoo groups. I think it's AspergersSupport. It is large--lots of emails come through daily.

I am a member, but I rarely post.

Thanks ladies, this new development with Ds has really thrown me. :wornout:
