These apps are made my RJ Cooper, a guy who develops technology for those with special needs. The two apps available are Point to Pictures (http://rjcooper.com/point-to-pictures/index.html) and Spell a Word, both for the ipad. I don't benefit at all by sharing this with you. One of my non-verbal little Sunday School girls is using point to pictures and a few others on her ipad now. :) I've found them by searching R J Cooper in the app store.

Here's his website (http://rjcooper.com/) where you can see more about these and the other stuff he has available. I've not used them much, but I didn't want to miss the chance to share while they're free. You could always delete them later.

These are his descriptions I got in the email this morning...

Spell-A-Word - LARGE print, spelling app, where you can make your own WordLists, or use those that we've made for you (complete with pictures and recorded words). When searching for this app, make sure you use the dashes. To view in iTunes click below:

Point To Pictures - The only AAC *training* app in the world. I believe this app is a *necessary* prerequisite for successful AAC on the iPad for anyone that doesn't immediately 'get' an actual AAC app! To view in iTunes click below.
