the world is our classroom, the classroom is not our world.
Cowboy Charlie in vol.4. We'll be rowing it in a few weeks and working on EM's Native American History pocket.
Ging
Cowboy Charlie. I'm going to be using it for Cowboys and then spinning off as well with Gold
I'm very excited about my gold unit, but it's still only in the planning stages.
Kendra
Kendra, wife of Lawrence, mother of three.
I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.
Thanks - I never thought to check vol. 4 ( where is the smacking self in the head smilie?) Is CC an out of print book??

Yes, it's OOP, but it can be found..... I've been searching for a while and recently "found" it and paid about $20 for it, I think...... (I've bought a good number of books recently, and I can't exactly remember..... I know I haven't paid more than $20 for any of my books, though, and this may be the only one I paid that much for.)
Wife to Jim and Mama to Katie (1/01), Mattie (9/02), Cale (4/05), and Ben (8/08)
Gail Gibbons has a cowboy book (among all her other good stuff), and Betsy Lewin has the Cowgirl Kate & Cocoa series, for fun go-alongs.

Not a FIAR book, but my boys have enjoyed this movie from our library (and part 2 ). It's a great go-along to a cowboy study.

Cowboy Charlie definitely and The Gullywasher ties in to it nicely.
Holling C Holling wrote a book about Cowboys and a book about Indians. They are out of print though. Tree In The Trail would be a good choice too.
